COMPANY NEWS
We've Moved
As of May 1st 2008,
KBDC West Hartford has moved from West Hartford
Center to 139 Vanderbilt Avenue in the heart of West Hartford's
Design District.
This new
facility has given us much needed parking, storage and expansion
space. Plans for our innovative showroom are in the making and
promise to feature
all the latest styles in kitchen & bath design, including the
emerging trend towards a more contemporary aesthetic and a
working demonstration kitchen, along with luxury brand
appliances like Wolf and Subzero. Keep an eye out for another
KBDC grand opening in the near future.
KBDC Kitchen-Warming Celebrations
KBDC has launched a new initiative for select
kitchen remodeling customers: a kitchen-warming celebration!
As a way of saying “Thank You” following the
completion of a kitchen-remodeling project, KBDC offers
customers the opportunity to invite their friends to a kitchen
warming with KBDC as host.
Our first kitchen warming was held in late March
2008 and featured Asian inspired cuisine by Chef Pengyew Chin of
Amherst, MA. Guests enjoyed Steamed Pork & Pear Sui Mai
Dumplings, Vegetable Sushi Rolls, Butter Shrimp and Indian
Chicken Kabobs in this award winning kitchen, while watching the
chef and staff of KBDC prepare the hors d’oeuvres, seeing first
hand how the newly remodeled space functions.
KBDC has held three other kitchen-warming
celebrations since then. In these tough economic times, Ms.
Cavanaugh stresses the importance of going the extra mile for
her clients. Lorey states that her “personal mission has been
to try to become part of the solution.” She goes on to say that
“if each of us extends positive influence each day we can help
our world improve, one person at a time.”
